New Videos - 3 new lyric videos from the Dinosaurs and Metaphors album are available on YouTube including "Your Love is a Metaphor", "A song that makes us Happy", and an animated on for "Dinosaurs on Roller skates".

In addition - Danny and the Red Pants Band performed an at home concert which airs on SiriusXM Kids Place live's Tunetopia on April 17. These videos are posted here on our site.

2017! Danny and the band continue to be busy. Their next album TOTALLY OSOSME! is finished and will be released on August 11th. Their latest single "Sunshine Sunny Sun Sunshine Day" has been a regular on kids radio and "Put Down That Smartphone" has recently been introduced into rotation as well. Their previous single "I'm a Girl (Step Aside)" is a girl power song dedicated to girls all over the world and has been a hit at Kids Place Live. Danny and Tina also produced a song for Sesame Street which is part of season 47 called "B is for Build". The Red Pants Band album has received a great response with several radio tracks and top albums of the year listings. Tina has released a solo grown-up album: Tina and the Balance Making Monsters that features Steve on drums.

Danny is back in the studio with TMBG and is looking forward to a 65 city US tour starting in January of 2018.

June 8th 2015 - Danny Weinkauf and his Red Pants Band win the 1st annual BatteryPop / Zooglobble Kindie Rock Showdown with the video for "Ice Cream" by David Cowles and Jeremy Galante.











May 2015 - Danny's song from TMBG's album WHY?

"Elephants (get out of the way)" is recognized as a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition.















Feb 2015 - Yvonne Grzenkowicz wins a "Rising Star" award at 

Canadian International Film Festival for the video "Archaeology"! Congrats to Yvonne.


October 18th - The Best Kids and Family Music of 2014 - 9th Annual Fids and Kamily Award Winners - No School Today #6! Judged by many of the top names in all of Children's music.


September 18th - No School Today is a 2014 Parents' Choice Award Winner!

September 30th - Congratulations to Yvonne Grzenkowicz who directed the video for "Archaeology" which is now a selection at the San Diego International Kids' Film Festival and the Gold Coast International Film Festival.


August 30th - After 5 weeks on the chart "The Moon is made of Cheese" has reached #5 on Sirius XM radio's Kids Place Live 13 under 13 countdown. This is the 2nd song from No School Today to make the list.


July 26th - Danny has signed on with This is a great place for kids only videos - helps avoid stumbling upon inappropriate content. see here:


May 30th - "Champion of the Spelling Bee" reached the # 1 spot on Sirius XM Kids Place Live 13 under 13! and spent 11 weeks on the chart.


June 3rd - "Cast My Vote" Lyric Video created by Tim Labonte is available on Youtube. 


April 29th - No School Today is released this day! Video for "Marsupial" is premiered on USA Today Pop Candy. 


Feb 3rd - Danny has signed a recording contract with Idlewild and Megaforce records with distribution on Sony/Red. No School Today is slated for release on April 29th, 2014 and now features a Bonus song co-written by Danny and Youtube phenomenon Hank Green titled "The Kidney That Lived in Four People" which is based on a true story!


December 12th - I had the opportunity to record at Bass Hit studios in NYC with Grammy winning engineer Dave Darlington behind the board. Singing with me on the song "Our Love Fits" was Children's Music Superstar LAURIE BERKNER! - check SONGS page to hear a snippet.
